Hello, and good Sunday to you all. How is your weekend going? Over here, it’s a very dreary day. It’s been raining all morning, and the weather forecast on my phone keeps telling me that there might be SNOW in there somewhere as well. Of course there would be — considering that I put all of our shovels away just yesterday, thinking that the worst was over. That’ll teach me.

I’m hoping that it’s just a fluke. ❄️
On a personal note, I’m beginning to think that the winter blues are affecting me. I’m still finding myself extremely lacking of any creative energy, despite the sunlight is sticking around longer, and the temperatures are starting to creep upward finally — although today is proving not to be conducive to that theory. The chirping birds outside the window aren’t helping matters either, haha.
In any case, regardless of events that occurred this past week (significant or not), I find myself unable to draw any inspiration to write about any of it. I don’t even have anything saved up to write about for my usual “this got me thinking” reflection. I suppose I could always recycle previously written content, as I see — and hear — from many who champion this idea, saying that the ideas may reach new eyes. From a logical standpoint, I can completely understand this idea, and is sound. But from a personal standpoint, it just feels icky, and I have no idea why.
For those of you who read this, I truly would love to know what you do when you find yourself in the same situation. How do you reconnect with your creativity? What reignites that spark within?
I will bring this post to a close with a look back at what I wore to work this past week. I hope you enjoy them. The coming week will be a shorter one for me, as I am taking my celebratory day off from work for my birthday. If you aren’t in this habit, I strongly recommend doing it. It’s your special day, so why work, even if you stay home and do nothing — like myself?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and the upcoming week.
-Terry
