About Me

Hi, I’m Terry.

After more than 20 years in IT — mostly in desktop support — I’ve recently found myself drawn to the world of cybersecurity. But not the ultra-technical kind. What fascinates me most is the human side of security: how people engage with technology, where empathy and awareness meet risk. I like to think of it as human risk management.

Outside of that, I’ve always had a deep love for fashion and personal style. I believe what we wear can quietly reflect who we are and how we carry ourselves — even in the tech world.

This blog is a blend of these two parts of me: what I wear to work each day, and what’s happening in cybersecurity — especially the kind that affects everyday people. My posts aren’t heavy on jargon or tech speak. They’re written from the heart, with the hope of making security feel a little more human, a little more relatable. They are authentic, and #VulnerablyMe.
